Wild Goose Studio Celtic Cross of Journeys and Meetings
This carving by Kathleen Smyth, of a man and a woman on either side of the Tree of Life, is from a 1,000 year old stone in Co. Donegal, Ireland. It can be seen to symbolise the journey of life, with its many opportunities and encounters. The meeting that may bring us fulfilment depends on the most startling chance and circumstance. The journey from the very first meeting to true union and love, is long and arduous.
